The TeMPO Lab @ Hopkins are on the lookout for excellent students to start fall semester 2024. Diversity is important to us, and we particularly encourage applications from demographics that are underrepresented in the geosciences (see Diversity & Inclusion page).
Interested students can email Daniel during 2023 to discuss potential research topics.
Broad research areas for 'field-to-lab' projects could include:
-- Time scales and tempo of orogenic heating recorded by metamorphic isograd sequences
-- Rate and tempo of subduction initiation recorded in ophiolite belts
-- Rift inheritance at continental margins and influence over convergent histories
-- Secular change and the tectonic framework of the Paleoproterozoic
-- Chemical transfer in subduction
Applications for Fall 2024 close December 31, 2023. Details on admissions can be found here.
